Every time I launch Battlefield 1, the game asks me to repair it

So I have had BF1 on origin for a while and saw it was on discount on steam so I decided to purchase it and give it a go for old times sake but I ran into a minor but extremely annoying problem.

Every time I launch battlefield 1, it asks me to repair the game. I then have to verify the files on steam which takes a good 10 mins. After that the play session is fine, I log out come back the next day and have to do the same thing all over again.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Also my origin version of BF1 isn't allowing me to download it and just has a details button

  • Hey, @Danu12350  can you try to do a clean boot to see if any programs are messing with Battlefield 1 and turn off any overlay programs, such as Discord or Nvidia experience.

Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have?

Let me know if this works or not for you. 🙂
