try downgrading your video drivers to a previous version, see if that helps, if you're happy with the results stick to those or you can try to re-install the newest (clean install) -it's an easy and fast fix, if the drivers are the issue, deffinatelly worth a try
If this helps, please click the white XP button and to give me some XP.
If this solves your question, click the green solution button and mark it as solution so it can help others with the same problem.- Are you using Mantle OP? If you are try using direct X instead and see if it improves as some Mantle users report lag issues while using Mantle that go away when Direct X is used.
Also if you haven't done it yet disable Origin in game as that is know to cause lag issues as well.
To turn off Origin in game log into Origin, in the upper left hand corner click on the word "Origin" in the menu, and then click on "Application Settings". Next go to the "Origin in game" tab and uncheck the "enable Origin in game" box. - Pyr0Plazma11 years agoSeasoned Novice

Are you using any 4rd party gaming programs like Razer cortex, MSI afterburner, or Raptr? Those have been found to cause FPS drops and lag as well.
I've got this issue too but I never had any problem since the game launched. I didn't install any new software or else.
Just an Nvidia driver update. I'm gonna try to go back to previous driver , see if it changes anything.
If it doesn't , well thank you Dice for breaking the game for me, when it was working perfectly. . 😕mileysad:- Anonymous11 years ago
Hello AssaultPlazma, Go to Documents and remove folder Battlefield 4... Join on any server and check if your problem is still active.

Try disabling the Razer game booster and then try to play BF4. I suspect that it might not be playing well with BF4 at this time.
