Every time I am unable to play this game because of the “failed to connect to EA online” problem i'm going to bump this post. Although I am certain that this problem will never be resolved.
I have done everything on my end to fix this problem that is vary clearly a problem on EA's server side.
Yes, I know this is an older game, but if your servers were unable to handle the influxes of players when this game was offered “free with gold” why would you even have offered it in the first place?
Please just try and pass this along to whoever it is you need to let know.

I have been able to play just fine for about 2 weeks and just now i tried to get on and i got the "Failed to Connect to EA online" message again...
