"Failed to join game. Please check network connection."

This is the message I get when trying to join games on Battlefield 3 for PS3. I already submitted a question about this, and it was not resolved. It was reassuring to see that several people replied ...

funny because i have the same problem but can get on with the same ps3 just on a different account....think i will try deleting everything then reinstalling on the account thats not working....idk i havent seen any resolved issues on this....weird

    Me too , nothings wrong with my connection but I cannot join games with my friends. I feel disconnected as if plucked from my social group. I work hard all day and want to play all night! Except I cannot play

      Hi there!

      This can depends on many things. It can be a server problem, it can be that your firewall blocking you from connect to other people (Behind strict firewall, NaT: Strict).

      Check your firewall and try to restart your internet router. Please report back here again if you need further help.

        I reset my modem and ran a test, all other online games I have work,  Only battlefield 3 won't work. this started on Wednesday 1/30/13. I wish EA had the balls to let us folks who buy onling game packs like "Aftermath" why we can't go into multiplayer mode. one day is ok, but this is redickulous.. I live in the midwest, so I like to know if there are west cost gamers who have the same problem.

      I just downloaded the game for free yesterday and was able to connect to a server once and now every time and a * load before it said failed to join game please check your network and *.....all I know is this has now thrown me into a spiraling dimension of pissed the * off that I haven't been in, in a long * time
      There's nothing wrong with my internet connection how the * do I fix this or get around it..why the hell is this so crappy
