funny because i have the same problem but can get on with the same ps3 just on a different account....think i will try deleting everything then reinstalling on the account thats not working....idk i havent seen any resolved issues on this....weird

This can depends on many things. It can be a server problem, it can be that your firewall blocking you from connect to other people (Behind strict firewall, NaT: Strict).
Check your firewall and try to restart your internet router. Please report back here again if you need further help.

I reset my modem and ran a test, all other online games I have work, Only battlefield 3 won't work. this started on Wednesday 1/30/13. I wish EA had the balls to let us folks who buy onling game packs like "Aftermath" why we can't go into multiplayer mode. one day is ok, but this is redickulous.. I live in the midwest, so I like to know if there are west cost gamers who have the same problem.

Seems to be temporary problem. Try to reinstall the latest multiplayer update, delete and install Aftermath again. And delete the title update and run the game again.

WWWRRROOOONNNNGGGGG!!!! It JUST started happening out of the blue! Everything worked a-OK the day(s), weeks before, without any issue. Now, the game will not let any of my firends on PS3 accept an invite from me, join a game I am in, nor vice-versa. So, this is NOT a problem with routers or anything like that on MY END!

I am in the Northeast and having the same issues. I can get on softcore quick play but am unable to connect to any hardcore games. Nothing has changed for my morning game before leaving for work. Now I am home from a long day of work and can't play my game. No parameters have changed. So It is not me it is You! My Internet is fast and fine. Your game is broken.
