Personally, I don't want any restrictions on weapons. I just don't want to go back to being forced to play a certain class, just because I want to use a particular type of weapon. I also don't believe that locking weapons to classes will do very much to encourage teamplay.
I do, however, agree with point #3 that there should be Support and Medic classes rather than being combined.
