13 years agoPROBLEM SOLVED!!!
- Open your Origin Application settings
- Scroll to the bottom and make sure "Update to the beta version when available" is UN-TICKED
- Go to http://www.origin.com/download and download the origin client
- Fully close Origin if you still have it open
- Run the origin install you just downloaded
- It will say you have a newer version installed or some crap - Click "Yes" you want to install the new version and overwrite the previous install.
- Once it's finished installing, give your computer a reboot
- Load Origin and play some BF4!!!
Fckn finally!
Let me know if this works for you guys!

Me neither on my PC or my work PC (don't tell the IT manager!)
Neither did removing all proxy settings, disabling all additional network connections, or VPNing to servers in Europe which sometimes helped get BF3 going.
Good job I don't take EA at its word these days and haven't pre-ordered!
