Forced to Launch BF4 from Battlelog?

I've had bf4 for a few months now, ever since it returned to steam. Up until now I was able to launch the game straight from Steam, but now when I try and launch it it forces me to open battlelog and launch the game from there. Any idea why this is happening?

On the subject, I have the same proble since today, and looks like others as well. Saw that in chat and there are several similar topics. Looks like some big brains at DICE want to force me to delete EA's last game I have installed.

@AndyMacaron1 It through EA, you can find servers and play through it as well. Battlelog is also there for your profile.

This is very big problem, Web browser Battlelog is disturbing and useless.
