Just bought BF3 from Target and try to install to the Windows 8 computer. Origin installation finished but stuck at the upgrade of Origin. Error Message:
"Origin was unable to verify the integrity of the downloaded upgrade. Please try again later , if the error persists, please contact Origin help"
Tried uninstall and install Origin again and disable for the virus protection and firewall. Still the same issue.

You could try running the install from origin as admin! y righ clicking and lauch as Admin.
