Game doesn't launch from EA App.
I tried Venice Unleashed and it works flawlessly, but launching the game from EA App doesn't work in any way. Everything goes well, I get into BattleLog, log in, start Campaign Mode and it gets stuck at Initializing. In Task Manager, Battlefield3.exe crashes after 3 secs and the Web Helper keeps running, indicating that the game is not launching properly for some reason. Same for Online and any options from BatlleLog.
I tried:
- deleting the license from ProgramData
- running everything as Admin
- clearing EA App cache, repairing said App
- deleting Battlefield 3 from My Documents
- reinstalling the redist
- reinstalling the game
- reinstalling EA App
- updating Windows
- running BattleLog from other browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Opera GX)
It sounds like an issue on EA's side, does anyone know if I am wrong and there is actually a solution for this?
