Game Freezing When Changing Resolution or Going Full-Screen

So I just installed the game again and started playing after a while. This time, I have two monitors. Either way, whenever I change the resolution of the game (going from 1920x1080 60hz to 1920x1080 144hz) the game crashes. Or, if I switch the game to borderless or full-screen, the game also crashes. I can run any other settings as I please, the resolution is the only issue.

A big problem about the freeze is that it HARDLOCKS my PC. No matter what I try, I can only hear audio, and the monitor running the game is completely frozen. Because nothing works (alt + tab, alt f4, etc...) I have to reset my computer. Furthermore, if I want to be able to launch the game again, I have to delete my settings file for it to reset to windowed 1080.

I am on PC, basic specs are as follows:

GTX 1080

i7 6700k

32GB RAM

Windows 10 156065.296

All drivers are up to date.

Monitor #1: (That I use to play.) Acer Predator 1920x1080 144hz.

Monitor #2: [Some basic ASUS monitor] 1920x1080 60hz.

    Battlefield 1 Random Freezing Issue

If your game freezes for a couple of seconds during the gameplay, you should try the fixes mentioned in #1.

Also, make sure that your security tool/firewall/antivirus is not blocking the game.

    I hope will work!!!
