Game switches from fullscreen to windowed mode mid-game

Platform:PC
Summarize your bug Game switches from full screen to windowed mode mid-game without warning.
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don't know what triggers it but I'll be playing multiplayer and suddenly my game will go from fullscreen to a window that occupies about 25% of my screen. I have to go into settings and switch fullscreen off and on again to fix it.
What happens when the bug occurs? Game goes from fullscreen to a window that occupies about 25% of my monitor. When I go into video settings it is still set to fullscreen. Switching it to windowed then back to fullscreen and saving fixes it.

Sorry no dxdiag, I am at work. I have Origin in-game turned off, so that probably isn't it.

    Happens to me too.  It changes the resolution and is very annoying.

    This happens to me as well. Exact same issue except I can simply go into options and then video, and click "Apply" to get it back to normal. Since all the settings are still where I left them.

    However, mine happens during Origin popup alerts. Such as "Friend has logged on!" "Friend has started playing Battlefield 1" etc etc.

    Those popups instantly drop my game from fullscreen into windowed mode.

    Any fixes or workarounds from anyone?
