Game unplayable because plugin wont install for browser.

So why are browser plugin updates released? What are the changes that are so necessary to release new plugins and break our game from starting?

I've uninstalled the plugin from "Programs and Features" and re-installed it. I've went to chrome://plugins and checked for it and it doesn't show up at all.

I can't install the browser plugin, I can't play the game that I paid for.

I've tried all the help guides on the forum to reinstall it and reset browser and still can't get the plugin to install. I'm running Chrome 64 bit latest dev-m release, Windows 7 x64 Ultimate.

Thanks.

    This is what fixed it:

I uninstalled it from Programs and Features once more.

Then I went to Settings > Clear Browsing Data and made sure that the "Cookies and other site plug-in data" was checked before clearing.

I let it clear, closed the browser, installed again and it's finally working.

    Fix for Mozilla FireFox:
    - Install the latest plugin - go to Addons (Firefox menu) -> Plugins - Search for ESN AND Battlelog - Set both to: always activated - close firefox, start it again and it should be fine then

    For Chrome:
-Clear Browsing Data ( Settings/Privacy ) -Reinstalling the plugin by logging to Battlelog again -In the search bar typing the following command: chrome://plugins -Checking the box Always allowed for ESN Sonar API and Battlelog Game Launcher -Restarting the Browser -Log back into Battlelog via Origin (Play from Battlefield4 icon ) -Join a Server

For Internet Explorer 11 -Restart IE 11 -From Internet Options/General tab -> Clear Browsing data -> Delete button -From Security tab, slide the bar to bottom -> Medium Protection -In Trusted Sites -> .battlefield.com should be added along with battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/ and battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/ -It will require a System Restart in order for the 7 step to be applied. -Log in again into Battlelog and download again the plugin. -Join a server.

    Good luck.

Try this, if it does not work see the attached PDF for steps on how to enable the plugin, if this still does not work please try to use IE and see if it work using that.

I already did all this. It won't install.

I already said in my post I cleared the browsing data, I reset/reinstalled the browser and it won't install.

I already went to chrome://plugins and ESN Sonar and Battlefield plugins don't show up at all.

I already said all this in my original post.

Sorry this may sound like a dumb question when you did the above did you reboot your PC after it was done?

Other things to try to fix this any chance the firewall is blocking the install ?

I understand how you feel but hang in there  we will find out what is going on and find you the correct fix for this.
