Game won't launch. Invalid or missing .par file. Please reinstall your game.

Invalid or missing .par file. Please reinstall your game.

I have reinstalled 3 times. Reinstalled Origin/Punkbuster/ etc. I have updated to the latest NVIDIA drivers. I disabled firewall and antivirus during install. I even see the .par files in the Battlefield folder. Don't know what else to do. I pre-ordered online. Picked up my copy from Best Buy. I have tried repairing the install each time. The only thing I noticed is after the first install, I haven't been prompted to re-enter my Product Key

System Specs

Windows 7 64-Bit

Intel i7-4770 @ 3.9GHZ

16GB RAM

Big ol hard drive

NVIDIA GeForce 670GTX (with latest drivers)

I had this Problem Too. but i somehow manage to fix it , Just simply got to Control panel, select Network and internet>Internet Options.

Find the "CONNECTIONS" Tab.Click on LAN SETTINGS , Under the Proxy Server, Uncheck " use a proxy server for your LAN"

then hit Ok,then Open up origin , Right click your game , Select Repair Game wait for a minute or 2(depends on your internet connection)

Restart Origin, then Re-open origin and start up your game. hope it works . cheers 🙂

Me too! I've just bought the game today for PC, and it keep saying im missing the MSVCP100.dll. I really hope they can really fix it because if they don't, it'll be a waste of 60 bucks.

Thanks for sharing your feedback, this is a quite old topic but I will just mark your post as solution. People can still jump in if they still have this issue and ir your workaround did not helped them.

    Cheers

Well guys I got the game to work after browsing some forums. Im going to take a wild guess and say that everybody having this problem probably has COMODO firewall or AVG antivirus? It's the settings in that. If so, let me know and i'll post my solution
