I should mention that I did not have these issues until recently. I normally get an average of about 155fps.
@AOD_MGsubbie I see that you're using Afterburner, MSI Afterburner has caused issues with Battlefield titles for as long as I can remember. Please disable Afterburner to see if the issue is mitigated or disappears.
I'm not sure how to properly measure my performance without it. I know BF1 has a frame rate counter, but those aren't so great at seeing temporary drops. Besides, it has never given me an issue in the past. The screenshot is from tonight, it was on Fort De Vaux.
The 200fps and drop in usage is from alt-tabbing out. The few dips in usage is during the spawn screen. You can see that GPU usage is much more stable.
I also found some footage recorded on Oct 22nd 2017 (same specs as then), 32v32 Operations on Fao Fortress. My GPU usage isn't constantly at 99% like I thought, but it does have significantly better performance than what I am getting now.
I have a few Windows related issues so I'm going to do a full format of my boot drive (which is also where BF1 is installed), then I'm going to do a fresh download instead of a backup. See if that changes anything.
DICE TeamThe situation has improved, my average fps has increased. I do still get a lot more stuttering than before. I will try a few more things like lowering my CPU overclock.
