GTX 1060 low fps on bf1
I have a Gtx 1060 and no matter what settings i run it on i have maximum 10fps (can vary but always very low)
This makes the game unplayable.
Specs
AMD FX 8320 Eight core Processor
8.00GB ram...
Ok ok, I get it...now, heres the absolute last thing I know that can slow down a game. I was "Ridiculed by the "Ignorant" about this, and left a group of fellow gamers due to a few, "Morons" that didn't get this. There was a Majority of "Smart People onthe Voip that wanted me to stay, but I found an Arguement with a Moron slightly annoiying to say the least.
Now that this is out of the way, Here goes the explanation as "How I see the BF1 Network"
Battlefield 1 is not an Internet Game as we know it, but runs on a "Private Independent Network" Owned and Operated in Whole by EA games.
With that said, the "Internet Access" to this game is Totally different to what we understand about Internet access.
Get this so far?
This is the main reason why I took the "Cheap, Easy, route in helping you fix your problem.
Now, it you got the idea about what I'm saying your ready for the next step.
On "Rare occasions" at least to me it seems, some PC's don't "Recognise this, and the "FIREWALL' does not let the program run smoothyly through.
For some reason the Firewall does not put this program and Origin on the "Exclusion List, and "Blocks" incoming and outgoing signals.....slowing down the game, but not denying it access...
(I have been ridiculed by some really dumb people about this, but if there is another explanation, let me know and I'll accept it!"
Put "Origin and Battlefield One on the Exclusion List in your PC's Firwall")
How did I find this out you may ask?
Because my PC was one of those "Rare Cases" that I talked about! Maybe the Program did not get "Recognised" when I bought internet access from a New I.S.P., Anti-Virus, etc....these reasons may be many and varied, so i don't really care about this, ok? Its the "Problem and solution" that interests me, not the reasons.
Go ahead, look at any
Firewall, Exclusion Lists, etc....you may have for you PC in the "Setting or Control Panel Area ok?
You may not see Origin or Battlefield 1 on the Exclusion List, so take you time doing this as it is going to also mean your going to have to find the right, "Pathway" to Origin and Battlefield1 also....(I too have mutiply HD's and this may be the root cause why the Game or Origin was not "Automacally Excluded from my Firwall?" (again, don't care about the cause right?)
OK. Now I've said my peace about this and I'm outta ideas
Good Luck...
Hiya again, I have checked my firewall (I use bitdefender) and it does say that it is allowed through.
Origin and BF1 have permission, yet still the game runs badly.
I am considering contacting support and asking them what is the problem.
Many thanks for the help, Dupa
Yep, go to Origin Help in Origin Browser at the top of the toolbar, and start your "Error Report"
Origin will also grab all the pertinent data once you'be made this report, as Im outta ideas that may quickly help you!
BTW, someone here wants a DX Diag report, but that will only tell you what is running and what is not on your PC...You've already stated this is only happening on this specific game, so that also means that everthing is working correctly with DXDiag or any other games/programs would be affected also..right?
Now...its a Server Connection Problem that only Origin Help/Error Report can properly "FIX"
I also have used
"Origin Error Reporter" and they are very Prompt, unlike previous online games.
Sent it in, might take a day, most times is doesn't, but their batting average at "Fixing things" has gotten a lot better with this game!
Good luck
dude just no , reinstall windows
delete everything something is wrong
either your PSU is broken or you GPU CPU is broken
hmm ,
reinstall windows you are at a bad place
then download Nvidia driver from here only
http://www.nvidia.co.uk/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-uk dont download geforce experience just the driver and physx make sure you click the correct windows 64 bit ect
once installed , then do a test
do not run anything untill you do this , also download presionX make sure your GPU is clocking up
http://www.evga.com/precisionxoc/ do not touch settings maybe fans if you want and memory + 40
make sure your clocks are high on battlefield
make sure your power option in nvidia control panel is set on high power check all the settings on windows power scheme as well
you should 100% not be having any problem with fresh windows and drivers with that card
Maxwell, PSU is not broken or any of my PC parts.
All my other games run fine apart from BF1.
Also, I don't need to overclock. The game should run well either way.
But thanks for the suggestion!
Have you tried doing a clean uninstall of all Nvidia drivers using DDU:

Followed by installing the latest hotfix driver:
