GTX 970 FPS are low
Hello, I have low fps with my GTX 970 , 50-70 and I really need help, Its started after the BFH Beta got closed, my Fps got lower and lower even after I tried to update drivers to 347.52 from 347.25....
What are your settings?
I just watched a video not to long ago with Jayztwocents testing a 970 with BF4.
His settings were all Ultra with MSAAx4 and a resolution scale of 150% getting about what you are saying. When he moved the res scale to 200% it dropped to 30's. Res was 1080.
All ultra 1080p 100% resolution scale
Don't have a user.cfg that would have changed for some reason?
Possibly software running in the background?
CPU Core parking?

Disable any overlay programs and/or Origin in Game maybe
Maps would play a big difference.
Just google'd up a guy with 100% res, all Ultra MSAAx4 with a 970 and he appeared to be getting between 80~130 depedning on the scene. Then I watched a different guy with a mild overclock 970 and he was pulling high 70's to 80s mostly on a different map.
I havent touch the game or done anything else, it just started after the bfh beta got closed.
I have the same issue except my card is an EVGA GTX760. Everyting was fine until early Feb/15 then the FPS went into the dumper. I was getting a steady 60 FPS on High settings now I can't get more than about 15-20 on ANY setting making the game unplayable. I have had the latest NVIDIA drivers but reinstalled an earlier version to see if that was the problem but to no avail. I have tried overclocking my CPU and GPU but got the same result. I have had sensor monitors running on the GPU and there is no power boost, memory boost or very little GPU clock speed boost when BF4 loads up and starts. Yet when I run a series of GPU stress tests the power, clock speed etc all increase to nearly max as you would expect.
Here are my specs
ASUS MOBO P8Z77-V LK 12 GB DDR3 memory
INTEL i5-2500CPU @ 3.3Ghz
EVGA GTX 760 2GB - was using NVIDIA driver 347.52 but clean installed 337.88 (no change)
WIN 7 (x64)
Monitor - Samsung Syncmaster P2250G Digital (60hz)
Just as an aside I had the game fill up my entire 12 GB of ram on several occasions, just recently. Never had that issue before!
