GTX 970 Graphics Issues

My rig is a MSI GTX 970 (Stock, never been above 72C) a AMD FX 8350 (stock) 8GB G-Skill RAM and a 750W EVGA PSU. I get some pretty intense screen tearing when looking at distances and just performed a driver clean/reinstall and I notice screen tearing when Im looking at many vertical objects (such as cement slats on building windows/entrances, fences, etc). Im wondering if there's anything I can do to get rid of these issues or things that I can do to make them better. I have everything on ultra and my temps are good.
