HD texture pack query

I've invested at least 913hour into BF3, but during all this time I've been curious as to -  Does the mesh distance increase when you remove the HD pack? (I'm guessing it gets even worse)  The main...

I'm pretty sure the mesh quality is fixed on the xbox. For frame rate reasons (As you know).

    So even if I did remove the HD pack, it would still be the same in the end?

      Yes. If you really want to try it, just copy the HD texture pack somewhere else, but i don't believe it will make a difference.
