    Hmm...

If you have opened the file with notepad, unless you modified the file AND saved it, renamed it or changed its extension, you shouldn't be having this problem. You shouldn't need to unassociate the sb file with notepad. What happens if you move/delete the appropriate file and then choose to repair the BF4 install via Origin instead? I would advise attempting that.

However, if you want to unassociate the file with notepad, you do it like so, with advice from here - http://www.howtogeek.com/171932/how-do-you-remove-a-default-file-association-in-windows-7/ - freely available via a google search.

    Start Menu > Run > Regedit > File > Export > All > Save a backup first!

Then, and I quote the link:

Find the file extension in question under this key in the registry:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts

Deleting the sub-key with the same name as the extension you want to un-associate will delete the default program association. You’ll have to kill and restart explorer.exe for this to take effect (via ctrl-shift-esc to task manager).

You may also need to remove the same sub key from HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT as well.
