High CPU usage 80 - 100% i5 3570k

I played the bf4 beta and the full version and experienced the same problem with high cpu usage close to maxed out. Im so tenative when i play because i dont know if its gonna crash or just blackscreen. I have been playing its on medium graphics and bumped it up to high and crashed 10 mins later. The crashes arent the issue its just the over usage of the cpu

My specs:

intel i5 3570k 3.4 ghz

gtx 650 ti boost 2gb

8 gb ram

*Note: Bf4 isnt the only game that i experience high cpu usage on.

Nvidia drivers are all up to date and i have been reading a bunch of articles just with everyday people experiencing high cpu usage with this specific processor. What is weird is that my friend who has a similar build to my PC (gtx 650 and similar processor) is only using 50-70% of his cpu usage running on ultra graphics with no problem. If anyone else has had the same problem or currently having the same problem with the 3570k please leave feedback. The only thing i could possibly think isupdating  the drivers for the cpu. Please any suggestions on fixing the cpu usage is appreciated

    You're an **bleep** aren't you.

I've got a 3570k. It goes 100% in BF4, Skyrim, and pretty much all new MMOs; got it OCd to 4.2ghz@1.25v.

It wasn't meant to be sarcasm. What is the use of having a good processor if it's never fully used? The reason your friends only get to 60% is

    1. Their processors are not fully supported by Frostbite 3,

    2. They're wrong.

    3. It doesn't require all of the processor at that time.

    4. Bottleneck.

I've been keeping up to date and been benchmarking and building computers for almost 10 years now. BUT HEY, This is the internet; everything is sarcasm and no matter what people say they're wrong and you're right!

Sorry man i took your first comment the wrong way my comment may have been a little out of hand but all im looking for is, i guess, different feedback from saying that 100% is fine. I dont want to start an emotional blog here. i just want possible solutions and yes i will take yours into consideration sorry for seeming like **bleep**. thats not what im here for.

There is no solution, it's GOOD that your CPU goes 100%, else something would be wrong.

Well the only real solution is to not play CPU-intensive games.

Let me ask though; why are you worried? Does your CPU become too hot or something?

Sorry if I was too offensive last post, didn't mean to, just tired :D

  • it's supposed to get maxed out lol, else it'd be a waste to have it, and BF4 is a very demanding game.

  • lol i said in my response that a bunch of my friends only use about 60% of the cpu not 100%. take your sarcasm elsewhere please. Bf4 isnt meant to destroy your computer

Its all good, heat is not the problem and i dont really know why im worried i guess i just dont want processor to burn out or something, which is probably not likely. lol. i need to stop thinking about it and if a problem occurs deal with it when it happens. thanks for setting me straight cuz i stress over too many things.

Now that i realize this was theraputic in someway, but whatever. THANKS FOR THE FEEDBACK!

Processors are made to endure 100% usage; it's literally what they're made for.
