About two days ago, my latency jumped up to around 130-170 ms minimum on Xbox One, and it will fluctuate higher randomly. It makes the game borderline unplayable. I checked my internet connection to be sure that is was not the source of the problem and my connection was perfect. Before about two days ago, my connection was around 30-70 ms, and it was perfectly fine. I have already followed all of the steps.on the support page, and I still have the same problem; none of it helped.

It looks like I finally fixed the issue. It looks like I talked too from my ISP lied to me, and the ports were not actually open. Since I could not get into my router manually, I found a program online that opens the ports using the routers UPnP. I guess somehow the UPnP stopping working properly for some reason a few days ago or something like that. Everything seems to be fine now and latency is down to excellent levels.

@Gish03 Do you experience high latency with each server or when you are trying to connect via QuickMatch option only? Could you please try to Reset your filter in the Server Browser and select a region that is closer to you? The, select a server and check the Latency.

I have been using quickmath only, and experienced high latency. The server list also still shows that I still have high latency after selecting my region as well. It appears that I have high latency on all servers.

Hello @Gish03

I am really sorry for those connection troubles with the game. Have you tried to open corresponding TCP ports? Disconnecting all the wireless devices from your router, can also significantly improve your connection. Keep us posted.

Unfortunately, I can not check the router myself to see if the ports are open (only my internet providers can at the moment until I get a new router). However, they did tell me that the ports I needed were open so I have to take their word for it. It still did not help.

somes times doing a hard restart of the xbox and router will help

@Gish03 did you try to reset you router. Change you Ethernet cable. I did that before because I had a lower cable tolerance, I change it and it resolve my issues of high ping or lower internet connectivity in the router.
