High ping in Conquest & operations only

Hello,

I seem to be experiencing a high ping on conquest & operations servers only (PC game). On TDM and other game modes my ping is around 20 - 30 and it used to be like that for Conquest too. Right now on Conquest & Operations I seem to get around 120 - 140 at all times...

I have reseted my router multiple times but no luck, also when connecting to the neighbours wifi, the ping is suddenly fixed!! My location is Belgium and the conquest servers are in the Netherlands so there really shouldn't be an issue.... Is there any ports conflict or something going on?

Speedtest shows no speed issues on my network either, I get the same max dl/ul as before.

Hopefully there is a solution..

    Hello @EA_Archi,

    I've set my PC ip to static 192.168.1.144 and opened up those ports but the issue remains the same. The only thing I couldn't specify was an internal port range, only one seems to be supported. I never had to open any ports before the spring patch and I had a really good connection. I really have no idea why it suddenly stopped being like that only for Conquest and Operations...

    Do you have any other ideas?

    Hello,

    I have the same problem.

    Also in Belgium.

    Ping to others servers is 30-40 server in Netherlands

    conquest/operations ping is 100-120 to server in Netherlands (for about a week now, used to be the same)

    Ookla speedtest ping to servers in Netherlands is 20 -30

    It started around the same time that the first post of this problem was posted... and it hasn't been solved

    Also from Belgium and same problem. Still waiting for this to be fixed.

    @EA_Archi Seems like other people are having it too... It makes no sense at all to have this kind of ping on a good connection to a server that's 100km away at most....

    Thank you for this additional information. Any chance you can switch to a different Internet connection? Maybe a mobile one? Also, can you tell us, who is your ISP and whay is your router model?

    Can't speak for Don_Carlos but my ISP is scarlet (which got bought by proximus) with one of their bbox3 routers and I have the same problems.

    I am also using Scarlet as ISP with Bbox model 3.

    When using a 4G mobile hotspot, ping is back to normal. Also when connecting to the neighbors Telenet ISP connection, the ping is back to normal. Unfortunately these are not reliable solutions for me as the neighbors connection is unstable (too far away) and a mobile one will cost me $$.
