Hissing/static/buzzing noise from speakers/within PC

Hello everyone,

once I get past the first loading screen into the Battlefield 1 main menu a static/hissing/buzzing noise can be heard through my speakers or headphones.

My friends in Teamspeak actually hear the noise very loudly through my microphone for some reason.

When I put my ear to my PC I can even hear it silently from within the PC.

I got this issue some time today.

Everything worked just fine before.

I recorded the noise here: (it pops up at 10 seconds in)
https://www.speakpipe.com/voice-recorder/msg/t94fnh7y2p0qzxb5

This only happens when I'm in BF1.
It seems to be gone when I tab out.

I tried playing other games, they work properly.

I tried the "Repair" option, didn't help.

I tried reinstalling my sound drivers, didn't help.

Please help me, I have absolutely no clue how to fix this.

Specs:

CPU:  Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570 CPU @ 3.40GHz, 3801 MHz, 4 cores
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti

RAM: 8 GB

    @Frenchinateur

Something I can think to suggest is reseating every physical connection in your audio path just to check.

You say this only happens in BF1 and that you are using TS at the time, it may also be worthwhile performing a clean boot and while booted in this clean mode test the game without Teamspeak.

    Clean boot: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

Let us know your results here too, thanks.

Ever since last few updates. I get popping sound on bf1. I'm at the menus doing nothing at all and the sound pops and cuts out. I use speakers I don't use team speak. I76700k gtx 1070 32gb ram. 100x10mbps . You guys need to fix this. It's rediculous. What else can I try besides all if the common toubleshoots I've tried and do not work? If you guts are actually troubleshooting this when will it be fixedm

    Hey @SnowFlakeHunter1,

sorry to hear your sound is acting up. What have you tried to do so far to troubleshoot the issue - have you updated your audio drivers, tried to repair the game, reset or alter the audio settings in the game yet?

    Hello,

I'm also having the same issue, so its not an isolated case, reinstalled the game and installed newer graphics drivers/sound drivers, the sound is familiar to that of cross talk/bleed over from what you would expect the volume to sound like turned full.
