how do I change an email account my email to link to my xbox live?

My brother put an email account on my xbox live account like a couple Years ago, and I didn't know about it, and I try changing his email/pass to my email/password, but it says everytime expired credentials when I'm trying to change it on like Need for speed rivals. I really don't want to make a new xbox live account, If there is any solutions that doesn't involve deleting or making a new xbox live account. Please Reply back ASAP
