    Mantle had performance issues with BF4 and has since been abandoned in favor of the new Vulkan API so I don't think it's worth trying to troubleshoot.

It sounds to me your Gaming PC is just not up to par on playing this game very well at all.

I would check your PC to see if it's truly stable enough to play your games before buying them.

    Well, you're not mistaken, but my GPU is compatible with the API though. I heard that Mantle can help a CPU-limited system so my CPU doesn't hold back the GPU or at the very least, reduce the bottlenecking. Whenever I try to use it, the game freezes during the loading screen even if I have a compatible GPU. (By the way, you might be asking "Why the hell don't you do your research?" or "Why did you buy this underpowered PC?" to which I say this PC is almost a decade years old and I don't upgrade regularly.)
