How do you get spot assists in BF1 on xbox one

@jrosenmd Hey, if it's for the medal do you need squad assists? In that case you need to spot and for a squadmate to take out the same guy.
Just make sure that you're playing in a full squad and keep spotting, and the assists should roll in with time.
If you're playing with a friend you can of course try to co-ordinate your kills so you can help each other with the medals.
I've received a few spot assists by being the first to mark a tank, player or vehicle, providing someone kills them during the time they are spotted.
Alternatively, try playing the scout class and firing a flare into a group of enemies. It'll light up the map and all enemies in a radius, any enemy that dies should give a spot assist. (I think it is when they die at least. Not 100% sure.)
