How do i uninstall DLC's?

First of all, I'm dissapointed in EA, again. Apperantly they got rid of the live support chat function, and if not it's well hidden and absolutely not user friendly. I need space on my computer and I want to delete certain map packs. For example Close Quarters. If I can install them seperatly, I can delete them seperatly. I just don't know how, and since EA support is no where to be found I got to ask my fellow gamers on this make shift forum.

Thanks in advance.

  • origins-my games-right click bf3-show game details- and click CQ, and uninstall at the top right corner i think or else you'll have to delete it and re-install with out CQ

You could try deleting the xpack2 folder inside "C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 3\Update" worth a shot.

Yes indeedy same prob here, SPACE! Deleting the files staright out of the update file as suggested above works well 🙂  Thank you.

  • That depends on which platform you are on.  Xbox and PC allow you to delete the expansions individually, PS3 will require you to delete everything and reinstall everything that you want.

an EA employee told me that deleting the files doesnt delete all of it. he said there are more files in the registry (whatever that is) and he couldnt give me its location.

First thing you want to do is go into origin go to the top of the screen that saids origin and click on that then do to applcation settings then go to advanced then click change at the top the go into the game that it is in the folder do NOT press the this folder button then go into updates and you will see a DLC called xpack or something else with pack at he end. Hope this helped and Goodluck
