You need to launch the game thru a website called Battlelog.  You will have to sign in with your Origin email and password.  Once you are on there, click "Multiplayer" near the top of the page.  This will open up the server browser (if you dont want to use the server browser, you can click "Quick Match" in the top right corner of this page).  Just scroll down and search thru for a server you want to play on.  Then click on it on the list and on the right hand side, you will see a big yellow box that says "Join Server".  Click this and you will log onto the server.

As a side note:  you will (most likely) not be able to use Chrome at this time.  There are two ways to launch the game right now.  They are one that is "Plug-in Free Launching" and one that is Plug-in launching.  The "Plug-in Free Launching" has been buggy and doesn't work for most users.  My personal recommendation for a browser is Firefox.  Once you log in to Battlelog on the web browser you choose, look to the left of your name that is in the top-right corner and you will see a circle with an arrow in it.  Click this and download and install the plug-in.  After the plug-in is installed, you should be able to launch the game and play.

Post back and let me know if this worked for you, or if you need any more help.

Good Luck and see you on the Battlefield!!!!

Sometimes Battlelog looks for a soldier, and when it's not there because it's your first time it glitches out. A work around would be to log into Origin, double click the BF3 icon in your games library and allow Origin to launch your browser and create your soldier.
