How to uninstall a specific BF4 DLC?

I really don't find any use for BF4's China Rising DLC and i'd like to free up the space it takes on my SSD for something more useful but i have no idea how to do so.

Any ideas?

There is no option to de-install specific expansion packs once they got installed on your hard-drive. You could try to delete your whole BF4 data and download it again via Origin, without downloading the expansions from the games detail page.

  • This is really silly. I am already running out of space on my HDD drive. In addition, I have a 300 GB monthly download limit. So I have to uninstall the game and then reinstall it and then individually cancel the Expansion Packs that I do not want to play so that I could save disk space.

In addition, even IF BF4 is installed on my PC but I do a windows reinstall, Origin will no longer see BF4. Instead, I have to go to and mess with the registry so that BF4 is recognized BUT the DLC does not get recognized so I have to reinstall the whole thing altogether anyway.

A year ago, my Origin would not launch. I went through all troubleshooting and spoke with an EA representative. Nothing helped.  I ended up reinstalling Windows, in the process I lost all my Rome 2 saves (that are stored deep within C drive/local/roaming folders - my entire 100 hour campaign) all thanks to Origin.

Seriosuly, EA.  You've had 4 years to perfect your service and Steam still does it better and Steam WILL continue doing it better.

Your sales are practically nonexistent, we can't take screenshots and upload them, the achievements are severly lacking. Origin ALWAYS starts off with a window trying to sell me something BEFORE I get into the actual softrware to launch the game - through a browser....

It's been 4 years and every time the Origin survey pops up I give you guys 0 or 1 stars - whatever the lowest number is.
