They hide it well as to prevent traffic in hope they find the answer as they desperatly dig for help.
First go here:
https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/ask
Type in something like:
"Cannot login bad company 2 with soldier"
then fill out the required info like what game console ect..
Then towards the bottom right will be a help button. Click it to access EA's well hidden Live Chat support.
Now please be reasonable with these people, they are doing their jobs and don't deserve rude or arrogant conversations.
But the more we tell them about this problem, the bigger chance we have of it being fixed.
So I encourage everyone who hasn't to go here and fill them in on whats going on with this game.
Thank you.
They are not going to fix it:
Juan: Thanks for contacting EA Customer Experience, my name is Juan. How may I assist you today?
you: Hello Juan! My name is XXX and I'd like to know if there are any updates or estimated repair time for Battlefield Bad Company 2.
Juan: I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you.
Juan: Please give me a moment here.
Juan: Thank you for being patient. We are currently shutting down servers and doing mantenance on our servers and taking some servers offline.
Juan: We did not make this decision lightly but as an attempt to temporarily lower traffic on EA servers that is caused by the high traffic of newer players and accounts that have pre-ordered Battlefield 4 and Battlefield 3. After shutting down a majority of EA Battlefield Bad Company 2 account servers which accounted for approximately 40,000 player slots we have actually gained approximately 50,000 more player slots from new accounts for Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4. We will have enough server capacity to allow over 150,000 players to get in a game server at once and that is just on PC.
you: Are you serious? So what about the players that have just purchased the game or have accounts? What happens to them? Do they get a free copy of Battlefield 3 or 4?
you: Hello?

That was a chat that was posted in the large BC2 thread..
