Hello @jamieb452,
Yes, you will still be able to play the games you purchased on Xbox 360. If you purchased the game digitally or have a physical disc, you can still jump in and play. If you’ve deleted a game that you have purchased, but you want to play again, you’ll still be able to re-download it.
Best regards,

renting a server through the game, is what i am talking about, not playing.

Unfortunately, you will no be able to rent a server as they are handled by the Xbox billing system.

Some follow-up questions:
1) Would renting a server work when played on Xbox One/Series through backwards compatibility after July 29?
2) If not, would it be possible to add BF3 server rentals as purchasable items in Microsoft store (xbox.com)? The server configuration could still be done in-game, but the transaction would happen through Microsoft store.
3) If none of the above options are implemented/supported, will it be possible, for example, to rent a server for three months on July 28 so that it's available for about three months after the native Xbox 360 store closure?
4) If the answer to the above is yes, would it be possible to pre-pay the rentals in advance, for example, to pre-pay for 4 3-month rental periods in advance so that it's available for a year?

Hello @4b125f92d79cb340,
1. Xbox one will not be affected.
2. No information about this is provided on any official site from Microsoft or EA.
3. If I'm not mistaken, you can currently rent a server for a year and it will work fine.
I'm not an EA or Microsoft employe so all of the information I have given you is stuff that is available online. Things can change, but this is how things stand currently.
Best regards,
