I have the same issue as most of you here. I get prompted to reactivate my product key but when I try to activate it, it says it's already in use.Which it of course are, as it is me who have activated my game through Origin back in 2011. Very frustrating that you can't go back and play an old game you own and it appears that there is not much support on the issue.. So is it just for us to forget about ever playing BF3 again?

As an very experienced ICT-consultant, (with 40+ years behind the keyboard) this whole thing makes me wonder:
- Why was the perfectly worklng Origin client abandoned in the first place?
- Who has been responsible for the (ill) designed EA_APP ? and the whole Alpha and Beta testing before roll-out?
- How EA tests their software , before wrecking havoc on their paying customers hardware platforms?
- Why their is such a structural lack of solutions / workaround being present on this BF3 forum?
To me it feels sometimes like some so-called "solution(s)" / "workaround(s)" are dropped on the EA forums (to keep us distracted busy?),
without been properly and thoroughly tested on a variety of target platforms. So sad...
I sincerely hope that EA will soon will upgrade their entire tech-support (knowledge, staff) act to a much higher standards as is it is now. (July 2023).
