I think you graphics card overheating while you're using it which causes the frame drops and crashing. Please do try this troubleshooting steps that might help.
    - Uninstall the graphics card driver from Device Manager
    - Do the same in Programs and Features look for anything related to NVIDIA and uninstall it as well.
    - Download and install the graphics card driver from NVIDIA support site
    - Here's the link: nvidia.com/download/index.aspx
    - Reboot the laptop once driver has been installed.
    - After the reboot make sure that your games are set to use NVIDIA graphics card.
    - Open NVIDIA Control Panel and select Manage 3D settings.
    - Under 3D settings click on the Program Settings tab then select the program you wanto to choose a graphics card from the drop down list. In your case your games.
    - Lastly, Select the "preferred graphics processor" to High-performance NVIDIA processor.

  • Ok, after some research I noticed that on older NVidia drivers (378.49), everything is much better... but still unplayable.

    Hello @HolyDonkey

I am really sorry for those issues with the game. Can you check, if the same issue is present in both single player campaign and multiplayer? If this issue is network-related, check this article for the possible solution.

    Cheers,

    Archi

This may be a late reply but I am having the same issue as yours. fps dropping 10-15 which is really pathetic. sometimes I just feel like punch their faces whoever made this * game.

Well I am talking this about Dec 2017 update. I don't know if you sorted the issue but please let me know any possible solution if came across any. I tried everything and no luck.

BTW my specs are i7, 16gb ram, 4gb dedicated to nvidia GTX 860M. screen refresh rate - 48p Hz. The gameplay is the worst thing.
