- So I use this pc primarily for gaming and I have a good CPU cooler. So turning it off looks like a good idea. Anyone know of any cons of this? Would it affect any other games in a negative way? Thanks again
I use a program called parkcontroldist64 to turn off and on my core parking. I played the beta for 22 hrs experimenting with HT and unparking/parking cores. Using this program will let you manage cores in realtime without rebooting. It seems to have sped up Crysis 3 also. I have now started unparking my cores when I work on video editing and have seen a performance increase. Of course when I'm crusing internet or wordproccessing I turn back on coreparking to clockdown the cpu.
Does it drastically effect BF4?
