I fixed Battlefield not launching!

I was able to fix my game finally. For some stupid reason BF1 was remembering my old monitor settings with a different resolution. A monitor I did not have after reinstalling the game. It still saved the old one. On Windows desktop I downgraded resolution to my old monitors resolution. In this case 1920x1200. The game launched. Then in game I changed the resolution to my current monitor settings (2560x1440p)

I closed the game, changed windows display settings back to 2560x1440p and relaunched battlefield 1 and it worked in the new resolution!

This applies to people who used to play on a different pc/hardware or through Origin and reinstalled on EA app and couldn’t get the game to launch. I hope this is a solution for you too! I tried every single fix save for sending my pc to a Nigerian prince for repairs.
