The game is so poorly optimized that my i5 4690 is at 100% load at all times and bottlenecks HD7970 a 5 year old card which is at 60-70% load and almost never goes above!!! It's so strange that you didn't even try to fix this in a patch, so frustrating, but there is time to make dlc's huh...

    Hello @pomettt

And sorry for those troubles in the game. Can you confirm experiencing the same frame drop in both single and multiplayer parts of the game? Have you tried to load your system with Clean Boot? Lowered your in-game graphic settings?

Keep me posted on your progress.

    Cheers,

    Archi

  • Hey Lad,

    I also play using i5 4690k.

I also have GF GTX 970 and it works smoothly. My processor use is around 50-60% - no more with around 100 fps.

It's not your processor fault mate.

    I hope it helped!

I know it is not  about processor, its about game...i monitor all my games all the time and the only problem is bf1, i highly doubt that you have 60-70% maybe on Sinai but all other maps, no.

The things i have tried were

    gametime.maxvariablefps 75
    RenderDevice.RenderAheadLimit 1
turning resolution up and down as well as other video settings

    clean boot

    issue is still there

i posted this problem on google+ group and many replied that they have same issue even with i5 6600k where they had 100% usage, i doubt we are all wrong
