in breach of our Terms of Service?

Hi!

I receive a mail yesterday:

"Dear -xi__winnie__ix-,

We are contacting you regarding your Battlefield3 Account.

Your account has been found to be in breach of our Terms of Service. Content on your Battlefield 3 profile violates our Harassment - Generally Inappropriate policy.

This content has been removed. Please be aware that no further action has been taken at this time, however to help prevent any further violations from occurring we strongly encourage you to familiarise yourself with our Terms of Service, as repeated violations will result in suspension or account closure."

What was the problem? I have no idea...

It sounds like you may have posted something against the TOS on the forums or Battlelog. As long as you can still play I would just watch what I say on the forums.

They take that stuff seriously and I know of friends who have been banned from the game for too many strikes against them.

  • I don't understand this totally...

I never used the forum. My profile is changeless since months.

    This is it:

    [edit: inappropriate content removed]

    and the result:

"This presentation has been hidden by the Battlelog administrators."

"This feed has been hidden by the Battlelog administrators."

    My picture was deleted.

I don't know, what was wrong..

First if you can I would immediately take that post off of these forums. As it was considered a terms of service violation that would most likely stand on this forum as well. Second, I can see how some of that was terms of service violation. I do not work with the team but I could see from the stand point of the fact that forums are supposed to be an all ages deal. If young children were to see that it would be inappropriate.

Remove or edit your last post if you can. I hope this helped shed some light on the issue. Again, I do not know for sure as I dont know all of the terms of service but this is what I have concluded from what I have seen.

Honestly if you do not use the forums, I would not worry unless this happens again. You get quite a few chances before something permanent would happen to your account.

I would strongly suggest changing your password incase someone else figured it out and was using your account.
