Hello there..
Every time I join a Server, since the Update,
I can only hear the Theme but no other sounds.
I asked a few other players and it turned out
I'm not the only one who has it.

Are you talking about as the game loads up ? There is only some sounds then everything comes in a little later almost like it takes time to catch up while loading ?... I also have this. My pc version doesnt do this but my 360 version does, usually the first sounds heard are the sounds of the ground while moving etc... regards ross.
This is not only you. I have the same problem after today's update. I hear the background music and a few sounds only (e.g. grenades), but not e.g. gun fire and similar. I met several other players online that had the exact same problem.
Hoping for a quick fix. That's very problematic. Everything worked perfectly before today.
NO SOUND after update on BF4 on 3/6/2014.

I have the same problem. I bought Battlefied 4 today and I heard sound but sometimes I don´t hear any sound only music playing background. Sometimes I hear and sometimes no sounds but mostly no sounds.
Windows 7 64 bit.
Intel Core i74771 3.5GHz
Nvidia Gtx 760 OC
8 GB RAM
motherboard MSI B85-G43 Gaming, sound: Realtek HD

Possible Xbox One temp fix:
I think I may have found a temporary fix to this problem. If you play a few rounds (I played like 3, but could require as few as 1 round) of Conquest mode and then go to Team Deathmatch the sounds will return.
Note: It seems that if you go to the Test Range it will remove the sounds when you try to go back into Team Deathmatch. I found this before going to sleep last night and have not been able to further test this. I hope this gets fixed quickly.

I also am experiencing these problems. It happened right after the update and now I can't hear any gameplay audio. Athough I can hear the gameplay audio just fine on campaign. Any server I join I can only hear the theme/win loose song thing.
