I have the same problem. I get the 'Could not activate' window when launching Battlefield 3.
I Tried reinstalling PunkBuster.
I tried verifying the game files.
I tried deleting license files in C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\EA Services\License
Nothing works :(
I didn't even get that far today 2/8/25. Downloader first only gives me option to download in Russian, and then once downloaded the installer doesn't even start and I'm told I don't own the game?! Heading to EA support now...

JUST got off with Piyush on EA Support Chat, and I'm told that if you are stuck on wrong language and can't download, as the EA support person to "...need to say check my Entitlement and rest we will do"
I'm in, and on a server!!!
