Has anyone found a fix other than the ones already listed? Part of my issue might be trying to run it on Windows Server 2012r2. Thanks all.

Same problem here...

SOLUTION: DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH ORIGIN!

These guys can not develop something that works smoothly on pc. Why we have to find a solution and not them?

    Try this:

    If your run x64 (64 bit) Windows go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 3\__Installer\vc\vc2008sp1\redis and run vcredist_x64.exe as administrator.

    If you run x86 (32bit) Windows go to C:\Program Files\Origin Games\Battlefield 3\__Installer\vc\vc2008sp1\redist and run vcredist_x86.exe as administrator.
