Is my PC Specs good enough for BF3?

Hello.

I got Battlefield 3 for free on Origin's "On the house deal" awhile ago and I wanted to play it. But I don't have a gaming computer. I have this one PC but I'm not sure if it is good enough. The specs and info are on this website.

By the way, it also has Microsoft DirectX 11 if that helps. I don't want to buy a whole new gaming PC but I am willing to upgrade some parts of my laptop. If I need to, what are your recommendations for what to buy.

    In addition to the minimum system requirements posted by Apollo here are the recommended specs as well:

    BF3 minimum system requirements
    Minimum requirements for Battlefield 3
    • OS: Windows Vista or Windows 7
    • Processor: Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz or Althon X2 2.7 GHz
    • RAM: 2GB
    • Graphic card: DirectX 10 or 11 compatible Nvidia or AMD ATI card, ATI Radeon 3870 or higher, Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT or higher.
    • Graphics card memory: 512 MB
    • Sound card: DirectX compatibl sound card
    • Hard drive: 15 GB for disc version or 10 GB for digital version
    Recommended system requirements for Battlefield 3
    • OS: Windows 7 64-bit
    • Processor: Quad-core Intel or AMD CPU
    • RAM: 4GB
    • Graphics card: DirectX 11 Nvidia or AMD ATI card, Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 or ATI Radeon 6950.
    • Graphics card memory: 1 GB
    • Sound card: DirectX compatibl sound card
    • Hard drive: 15 GB for disc version or 10 GB for digital version

    Thanks for the replies guys! I have the recommended specs for the game so I can play it. The recommended amount or RAM is 4.00 GB but I have 3.99 GB usable, I doubt that will be a problem. Anyways thanks for the help, I left an XP for both of you!
