Haven't seen any issues with this, however I can't seem to complete Single Player, as during the credits it crashes with: Faulting application name: bf4.exe, version: 1.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x526b9042...
Same problem and errormessage here.
And DirectX reports the following error:
DirecX Function "GetDeviceRemoved" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG ("The application's
device failed due to badly formed commands sent by the application.
This is an desing-time issue that should be investigated and fixed.").
GPU: "NVIDIA GeForce GTX SE", Driver 33165
Just bought the game 3 days ago and now can not play it?
What is this for merchandising?
I meet the minimum requirements.
Nvidia GTX295 12GB RAM
Windows 7 64bit Professional
Latest Nvidia drivers.
What a crap.
And EA leaves the customers figuring it out themselves?
Well... it seems it is fixed for me.
My PAGEFILE was on a different drive then C:\.
After setting up a PAGEFILE on C:\ also i could play the game without these
Faulting Application Path: x:\OriginGames\Battlefield 4\bf4.exe
Problem Event Name:APPCRASH
Application Namebf4.exe
Fault Module Name:KERNELBASE.dll
Exception Code: 887a0006
and
DirecX Function "GetDeviceRemoved" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG ("The application's
device failed due to badly formed commands sent by the application.
This is an desing-time issue that should be investigated and fixed.").
errors.
I know that moving your pagefile to a different disk can cause problems in some cases.
Setting a pagefile on C:\ solved it for me.
This is a system file that will have any corruption fixed by running System File Checker: https://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833
Running SFC does not guarantee the crash will not happen, but it will ensure it is not because the file is corrupted.
