Key cannot be activated

Hello EA community, i purchased Battlefield Bad Company 2 at my local Walmart and i tried to activate it on origin client and on the ea.activate url but both responded that my key is invalid, any way around this ☹️?

    Hi nenadg285,

    The first thing you should do is to try to put the key in without dashes. If you input the code with dashes, you will receive an invalid key error.

    If that does not help, get in contact with your retailer (in your case: Walmart). They should be able to provide you with a new key.

    And if this does not help, please get in contact with an EA Game Advisor.

    DID YOU EVER GET ANYONE TO ANSWER THIS? i NOW HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. I HAVENT PLAYED IN AWHILE, NOW THIS IS DISAPPOINTING

    I am also having this problem. Installed from my disc. Went into game menu to access multiplayer. Logged into my Origin account. Asked me again for my product key. Typed in the correct product key on my box and it says that the key is already in use. It has only ever been used on my account by me. This blows. I'm not buying the game all over again if thats what Greedtronic Arts wants me to do.

    I've tried to get on live help but no use...

    i've put my code then it says go to this link bla bla... i did nothing usefull
