Keyboard go crazy!!!

Hi there,

Yesterday i installed windows 7 on my pc and then i've reinstalled battlefield 3. When the game starts my keyboard doesn't work properly. Keys don't respond to any command and it is as if the right arrow key is continually pressed. If i try to open the options menu the selected option continue to switch ad infinitum. The same keyboard used to work normally on windows 10.

Please help me.!

    After a day spent for this i managed to solve this issue!!! I found that my motherboard was causing a USB interference due to  "XHCI hand-off" (eXtensible Host Controller Interface) fuction being disabled. I enabled it from the BIOS and everything work just fine.

    This, for what i understood, should only occours under windows 7 and with certain MOBO (i have an ASUS p8H61-M Le).

    Thanks anyway for your answers @EA_Barry @ragnarok013

    @IIDaZzuII

    Try removing all USB peripherals, external hard drives, joystick, USB memory key, everything apart from your mouse and keyboard. Retry the game and let us know your results here, thanks.

    Same issue. Tried also to delete xbox 360 controller drivers but nothing solved. I'va also tried an old keyboard but the issue persists.

  • @IIDaZzuII which keyboard are you using? Does it use a third party program to control key functions such as Razer Synapse, logitech setpoint etc?  Do you have any additional input devices such as a nostromo, an xbox 360 controller etc plugged in at the same time that they keyboard goes bezerk?
