So I'm playing the Tashgar mission on PC and I manage to take out the people defending a dam. I jump from a scaffolding to rejoin with the teammates who are in a barracks and fall to my death. I didn't think the jump was too high, but well, mistakes were made.
The game reloads the last autosave and it freezes. I have to use alt-ctrl-del and the task manager to get out of it.
I reloaded the campaign of BF4 (after first closing Origin and my internet browser). When I press resume, I see the intro mission cutscene. During or immediately after this cutscene (in several attempts) the game freezes.
I tried lowering resolution and graphics quality and repairing the installation of the game to no avail.
Is there some way to fix this or do I have to redo the mission (if that is possible)?
By the way, I also am experiencing freezes when in a multiplayer game and there are some graphical glitches that need settling (though these are not so aggravating as losing progress made in singleplayer). I can't remember having these freezing problems in 1942, Vietnam, 2, Bad Company2, 1943 (Bad Company 2 being the only one with a genuine single campaign). Therefor I know you can do better so please resolve these problems.
