  • Your PC is not weak it is more than capable of playing BF4 at a much higher frame rate, your CPU as you noted is indeed the weak link but your GPU is above the recommended as is your RAM. The first thing that I recommend is to disable Origin in game as it creates FPS issues like you describe.

To turn off Origin in game log into Origin, in the upper left hand corner click on the word "Origin" in the menu, and then click on "Application Settings". Next go to the "Origin in game" tab and uncheck the "enable Origin in game" box.

After you disable origin in game play again and monitor the FPS. If it's still low what video settings are you playing BF4 on?

  • @Danxd2 definitely listen to Zorlacc on this.  I have a GTX660 and was getting around 60 FPS, Zorlacc walked me through some additional settings and now I get around 120 FPS on average in BF4.  I also went from a mixture of high and ultra down to medium and high when we tweaked my settings and it really made the difference.

  • Sweet happy to help you DanXd420 :womanhappy: Thank you much for the XP and the solution on my post as it will help others down the road.
