Lag so bad I can't fly or move on any servers

Hi, up until two weeks ago BF3 ran like a dream. Then lag set in and since then I haven't had one day where I can play without giving up from frustration. I can't fly without the jet crashing before ...

    Hi, after 5 hours on the phone to the ISP and their 3rd level engineers, it turns out the modem had packed it in. The modem was still passing data and not sure why it had prioritised gaming out, but replaced the modem and all good now. Thanks for providing me something to go on.

Please try following workaround and keep us updated if one of these steps helped you:

The Media Server Connection allows other devices to connect to your PLAYSTATION 3. Often, the Media Server Connection is known to cause issues when players try to connect to the Internet for online game play.

  1. Access your Xross Media Bar menu
  2. Navigate to Settings
  3. Select Network Settings
  4. Select Media Server Connection and choose the Disable option.

Turn off the Media Service connection can slower your PS3 internet connection (especially for downloading).

Please enable the following online ports on your connection:
TCP: 80, 443, 9988, 10000-10100, 17502, 42127
UDP: 3659, 14000-14016
For specific instructions on how to open your ports, please visit http://www.portforward.com/ or contact your router manufacturer. If that doesn’t work, you can try to use the Google DNS service.

Some people reported that changing their DNS to the Google DNS (Primary: 8.8.8.8, Alternative: 8.8.4.4) solved the issue. These can slower your connection as well.
