Let Us Customize Commo Rose for Auto Chat

That's not a bad idea at all, but the soldier's voiceovers serve the main purpose of entertainment and immersion, as the real communication appears on the chat window.

However you can propose your idea for the future titles on the official reddit page or on the forums!

@IIDaZzuII I think @SterlingARCH3R is playing on console like me, and we don’t have a chat screen like PC does, we only have the preset comments from the commo rose wheel, like “Sorry”, “Thank you”, “Go,Go,Go”, and sometimes these don’t fit the purpose apart from if anybody is paying any attention to them.

Going via the messaging system of the PlayStation is way to cumbersome, I don’t know for Xbox. But most of the console players also lack a keyboard, and composing messages via a controller is also a time consuming task.

Some more options to communicate with players not in your squad would be useful. Like when the dreadnought Captain needs to be told to move the boat forward or turn it a bit so the rear gunner can also start shelling objectives.

He mentioned the quick chat feature holding Q+mouse to send orders (which is only possible on pc), so it's probable he's playing on pc. However that's not the point. 

I really understand the need for a better performing communication tool both on consoles and on pc (keyboard makes the work easier but you still have to pause from the game).

The point  here is that the feature is not likely to be added in battlefield 1 and, to have the possibility to see it on future titles, it need to be discussed by devs and the rest of the community, which is not possible here on AHQ, since here we mainly care about technical issues and there are no devs whom can see this.

@IIDaZzuII My bad, I did miss reading the Q+Mouse bit, which indeed indicates he's a PC player. But anyway, we do have the same feature on consoles to send these orders via the common rose, and for console it's the only way as we don't have the free chat window that PC players have. So from that perspective I extra support the idea from @SterlingARCH3R. 

I agree that we probably won't see anything changing on this for BF1 anymore.

Hey everyone, this indeed does sound like a good idea, for both PC and especially console, where you might be in a voice chat with your party, but there's no text chat.
