Login to Battlefield 1 (problem with EA password)

Hello,

I bought battlefield 1, playstation plus and created EA account to be able play multiplayer. During login to multiplayer I was asked to enter EA account and password. I wasnt able to write password correctly, because dualshock writed empty or chinese symbols. I repeated several times during several days, also used second dualshock, but without effect. I have no problem to play other games as Titanfall 2 from EA, also no problem with writing of any symbol by dualshock for other games. Could you advice what to do?

Thanks

    Hey there, @Father-Karel.

Another thing you can try is to adjust the input language on your text entry fields, in case it is using a Chinese keyboard. You can do this through the PS4 Settings.

    1. From the home screen, select [Settings]
    2. Select [Language]
    3. Select [Input Languages]
    4. Select [Keyboards and User Dictionary] and then select the languages you wish to use

From there, you can change which keyboard you're using when you enter text.

    1. From the on-screen keyboard, tap the Touch Pad
    2. Switch keyboard languages by using left or right buttons on the controller, then press X to confirm

Please try that with English, or another roman-based character language, and let me know how it goes.

    Hey there, @Father-Karel.

Hmm, not sure why the dualshock controller isn't allowing the correct characters to be selected. Would you happen to have a USB or Bluetooth keyboard you can hook up with the PlayStation temporarily?

  • Hello Arrenai,

I had the same idea, but keybord doesnt work inside of Battlefield 1 (I was asked to enter password of EA account after start (inside) of game. Keybord work without problem till Im not inside game. As I know I need special adaptor for keybord to be able work in Battlefield 1. Do you have any other idea how to resolve this issue?

Thank you very much for your support.
